With it being June and all, I thought it was a great time to head out to the sunny beach for our monthly wallpaper. Hopefully, many of you will be taking a trip to the shore in the coming months, if not sooner. Soak up some sun!

May promises to be an exciting month. I currently have an exhibition set up at the Core Sound Museum on Harker’s Island, NC which is open to all. So if you’re in the area or vacationing and visiting Cape Lookout, stop by and have a look! The official opening reception will be the evening of Friday, May 25; it’s a free event!

On another note, I recently realized that comments have been disabled on my blog for quite sometime—probably for as long as some of you have followed it. No idea how I didn’t notice… They’re back now, so feel free to leave me a quick comment. I never really do know how many people use or share these wallpapers, so it would be nice to see who all is enjoying them!

February 2012’s Desktop Wallpaper Calendar
Occasionally I’ll have some trouble picking what image will be featured on the next month’s desktop calendar. As you know, I choose my favorite shot from the month before. January was a great month in that I got a lot of ‘keepers’ as I call them; solid shots that are portfolio worthy. Any month where I have more than one or two is considered a highy successful month.
