I was born and raised in a small town in Western Pennsylvania named Elderton. While attending nearby Indiana University of Pennsylvania, I was introduced to photography as an art form. Soon after graduating, my wife and I moved to New Bern, NC. Due to the move from where I had lived my entire life to that point, the name 'The Uprooted Photographer' stuck.
