June-July 2012 (Dates/Location TBA) | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Details to come…
August 2012 (Dates/LocationTBA) | Chincoteague Island, Virginia
Beautiful and tranquil Chincoteague and Assateague Island, Virginia: a place I’ve been visiting my whole life. Details will come, but tentatively we’ll discuss post processing and in-camera composition. The bulk of the event will be shooting in the field with hands-on one-on-one assistance with anything you wish to work on. This may be a two-part seminar consisting of two, half-day, portions. A sunrise shoot will likely be on day two.

Suggestions: Although not required by any means, it’s suggested that you bring a laptop with any software that we’d be discussing to the workshop so that you can work along and try what we discuss. Personally, I can listen, read and take notes all day long but until I actually get my hands on the program or camera, I don’t completely ‘get it.’
Also a DSLR camera and a tripod is needed for our hands-on sections. This is something that is required.
Snacks and drinks are always suggested as well as we do not always have enough time allotted for a meal break. Bonus points of you bring enough for everyone ;-)
Lastly, bring questions! The format of these workshops is a very loose, laid-back atmosphere. Although we have a rough outline of what we’ll cover, the exact topics will closely follow what YOU want to learn.
